nGenera Achieves 589% ROI with Intacct Financial Management Software

Nucleus Research analysts have independently examined the deployment of financial management and accounting software from Intacct at nGenera to find a return on investment (ROI) of 589% with payback in two months. This case study demonstrates the value that cloud computing can deliver for financial management.

nGenera delivers collaborative enterprise management solutions to the world’s leading companies, applying the power of collaboration to management processes from the board room to customers and employees around the world. This helps its customers leverage Web 2.0 technologies and on-demand software to improve their business.

As nGenera grew – both organically and through a series acquisitions (six over an 18-month period), so did the complexity of its business. nGenera began looking for a solution that would provide a single financial system of record for the company and selected Intacct.

Moving to Intacct has enabled nGenera to streamline financial operations, improve visibility into the business and has allowed it to more rapidly integrate acquisitions and retain knowledgeable employees. By consolidating systems and moving to on-demand delivery, nGenera has reduced IT costs. The new efficiencies have helped nGenera to avoid additional finance management hires, allowing employees who know the business to work remotely. And by allowing end users to enter time and expenses electronically, it has increased productivity, saving end users about an hour per month while improving project accounting.

“We are seeing more companies move to on-demand solutions for both cost savings advantages and increasingly for the business agility it provides. nGenera, for example, was able to reduce overhead and ongoing IT costs, and also retain its best talent wherever they reside,” said Rebecca Wettemann, VP of Research, Nucleus Research.

All Nucleus Research ROI case studies are independent assessments, evaluating the costs and benefits from the IT deployment.
